ASTi - Advanced Sensor Technologies
DO-ISE-and-EC-Sensor

DO, ISE & EC Sensors for Liquid Analysis

The ASTI proprietary and novel highly modular and application specific sensor design provides the needed versatility and flexibility to create customized solutions to meet the most demanding measurement applications. Each built-to-order sensor model chosen and selected options invoked are based upon a thorough review of the customer supplied application information by senior in-house chemists to ensure that the best possible DO/ISE/EC sensors for the intended process is supplied at the lowest possible price. These custom built-to-order sensors can interface with most all existing control equipment to serve as replacement sensors to retrofit existing installations or else are also available as smart digital sensors for use in new installation complete with mating intelligent digital transmitters.

  • Substantially improved sensor service lifetime leading to substantially reduced cost of ownership
  • Reduced cleaning and calibration requirements due to rugged industrial construction and solid-state reference

= Reduced damage from mechanical wear with extremely rugged industrial construction and fault-tolerant design

  • Optimized sensor components, design and fabrication that is individually selected for your exact application requirements ensure optimal performance all while while minimizing cost of ownership
Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Sensors
Ion Selective (ISE) Sensors
Conductivity (EC) Sensors

The leading novel and proprietary solid-state industrial DO, ISE and EC sensors designs and technology combined with built-to-order extensively configurable manufacturing. Each standard and customized sensor design is based on a thorough review of the customer supplied application information by senior in-house chemists to ensure that the best possible choice of available sensor models.

Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Sensors

Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Sensors

  • AST-DO-UNIVERSAL Galvanic Dissolved Oxygen Sensors for Inline, Immersion, Submersion, Sanitary & HOT-TAP Installations
  • Rugged Industrial HighDissolved Oxygen (DO) Sensors Stability Thick Membrane is ideal for Continuous Measurement in Tough Applications such as Processes with Abrasive Slurries, High Levels of Organic and Biological Content & Solutions with High Turbidity
  • High-stability membrane covered self-polarizing active style galvanic cell that generates a millivolt electrical signal proportional to the oxygen pressure it senses
  • Thick-wall TEFLON™ (PTFE) membrane ensures very high stability, low-drift and high durability in aggressive industrial applications & minimizes frequency of membrane replacement
  • Galvanic dissolved oxygen cell with true zero means only a slope (span) calibration performed clean and dry in air is required. No wet solution calibration is ever needed and so no calibration solutions are ever required for calibration.
  • Waterproofing seal option is available for complete cable isolation for fully submersible
installations & applications employing field washdowns and/or moist & humid conditions
  • Custom configurations and options available upon request (minimum order quantity may apply).
Ion Selective (ISE) Sensors

Ion Selective (ISE) Sensors

Rugged Industrial Grade Ion Selective (ISE) Sensors for Continuous Inline, Immersion, Submersible, Sanitary & HOT-TAP Valve Retractable Field Measurements

  • HiQDT Smart Digital ISE Sensors use MODBUS RTU protocolISE sensor with no preamplifier and tinned lead wire terminations
  • Connect directly to PLC, HMI, SCADA, or any MODBUS RTU master device
  • Compatible with customer-supplied or ASTI-supplied systems
  • ASTI turn-key systems are ready for plug-and-play field commissioning
  • All ion selective sensors come standard with Pt1000 temperature compensation element
  • ISE Sensor body housing material is rugged RADEL® (Poly-Phenyl-Sulfone, PPSU)
  • Optional ASTI touchscreen HMI/PLC offers:
    • Remote access via Ethernet
    • Use in Class I, Div II hazardous areas
    • Support for in-situ calibrations
  • For any ion selective options or measurements not listed contact us to see if it is available on a special order basis.

Conductivity (EC) Sensors

Conductivity (EC) Sensors

  • These conductivity sensors can operate in the most difficult of process conditions and interface with most existing instrumentation.EC sensor
  • Superior performance and lifetime compared to most any OEM sensor due to optimal selection of materials, design and workmanship for each built-to-order sensor.
  • Very low total cost of ownership is possible due to superior service lifetime and extremely competitive sensor unit cost
  • Many applications that cannot be serviced by competitors are quite feasible for our conductivity product line
  • Special versions for High Pressure Low-Fouling Operation for Inline Slurries available; this special conductivity sensor is for highly abrasive process applications and those where more frequent cleaning is required.
  • All sensors are made in the USA.
