The FALCO 2 offers both a pumped and diffused sampling method to accommodate a wide range of applications and monitoring needs. FALCO 2 incorporates the world-class MiniPID 2 Photoionisation (PID) Sensor in both 10.6 eV and 10.0 eV variants to allow detection of over 700 Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). MiniPID 2 offers additional features such as lamp life longevity, and ease of service and maintenance.
Eliminates false readings found with other competing technology. It continuously detects Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in hazardous areas. Ideal for detecting VOCs in areas such as refineries and petrol chemical facilities.
An externally located Intrinsically Safe sensor offers quick and easy servicing without the need for a hot work permit. Dual certification allows for servicing and calibration Falco in a hazardous environment without removing power!
Both the Pumped and Diffused models are supplied with a 10.6 eV lamp allowing the instrument to detect a wide range of VOC gases. The fixed gas detector has 4 detection ranges available, these ranges include 0 – 10 ppm, 0 – 50 ppm, 0 – 1000 ppm and 0 – 3000 ppm.
