Perma Pure manufactures gas sampling conditioning systems. The systems are based on a proprietary technology called Nafion which is a tubing that was developed originally by DuPont and then commercialized by Perma Pure. Nafion tubing has the unique property of being able to remove moisture from a sample, without removing any of the analytes or the gas from the sample.
The moisture removal is an inherent physical property of the Nafion tubing. To handle larger flows, higher humidity, and/or larger flows, we simply increase the number of tubes that are used in the cooler. Nafion does not need any power so the systems can be used in hazardous area/clasified applications. The dryers have the ability to reduce sample humidity to as low as -45c, without any loss of analyte. The systems can also be run in reverse to humidify samples if the sample is too dry to be read by an analyzer.
