Continuous Mercury Monitoring System (CMM)

SKU: Gasmet Continuous Mercury Monitoring system (CMM) Category:

Continuous Mercury Monitoring System (CMM) can measure the lowest concentrations of total mercury in samples containing high amounts of dust and gases such as SO2, which traditionally have complicated mercury measurement (in e.g. installations such as coal-fired power plants stations and power plants co-incinerating refuse derived fuels). Cold Vapor Atomic Fluorescence (CVAF) offers detection of nanograms of Mercury in a cubic meter (ng/Nm3), which allows effective sample dilution. The potentially interfering SO2 absorption is completely avoided by the technique.

  • Low need for maintenance
  • Hot-extractive-sampling; no sample loss or change of composition
  • No span calibrations required (automated span checks possible)
  • Capability to monitor water soluble compounds like HCl, HF, NH3, etc.
  • TOC (Total Organic Carbon) measured with FTIR
  • Fully automated measurement system with comprehensive safety functions
  • Ready for future requirements – new compounds can be added without any hardware changes
  • Fully modular system built to customer specification
