The Draeger PointGard 2700 is a gas detection system providing continuous monitoring ambient air for flammable hydrocarbon gases and vapors. Durable, water-resistant housing features a horn, strobes, built-in power supply, and external relays. The PointGard 2700 system is compatible with the Draeger PIR 7000 Type 334 or Type 340 infrared gas sensor, constructed with a stainless steel 316L enclosure and drift-free optics that withstand harsh industrial environments. A 4 beam signal stabilizing system ensures resistance to dust and dirt deposits. An integrated gas library contains over 70 gases, providing a high degree of application flexibility. Each gas is easily selected from the menu and cross-calibrated with a standard calibration gas, such as methane or propane, for reliable, drift-free, long-term operation.
