The PointGard Â3700 is an ideal solution for all those who need a gas detection system but who do not want the challenge of assembling many components. Containing the measuring function of a transmitter, it has the assessment function of a controller along with alarm signaling including flashing lights and horn. The AC versions of the PointGard Â3700 can be operated with the optional mains plug using any standard power outlet.
In order to position the PointGard Â3700 and sensor optimally, they are designed separate from each other so that the alarm devices and display can be mounted at eye level, and the sensor placed as close as possible to the measurement location. Maximum cable length between PointGard Â3700 and sensor is 30 m. The sensor used is the Dräger ÂPIR Â7000, allowing for installation in hazardous areas. Appropriate accessories are also available for use in pipes and ventilation shafts.
