The Draeger PointGard 2720 is a self-contained gas detection system for continuous area monitoring of carbon dioxide (CO2) in ambient air. PointGard 2720’s rugged, water-resistant housing includes a horn, strobes and built-in power supply. This gas detection system is compatible with a remotely mounted Draeger PIR 7200 high performance infrared CO2 sensor. The PIR 7200 is built for harsh industrial and commercial outdoor environments. This includes a stainless steel 316L enclosure and drift free optics. The unique 4 beam signal stabilizing system makes the sensor resistant to dust or dirt deposits. Environmental and ageing effects are largely compensated and ensure long term, drift free operation. The measuring range is freely adjustable between 0 – 2,000 ppm and 0 – 30% volume enabling a wide variety of applications.
